Read this before you use any number on the page

These describe past applicants and offer holders. They are not entry requirements and the university has not endorsed any reading of them.
Cells marked — are withheld. The university withholds the average where a college had fewer than three offer holders from that school type in that year, because an average of one or two people would identify them. We never show a withheld cell as a number.
Groups are small. Many college rows rest on three to ten people, so a single applicant moves the average. Read trends, not cells, and do not pick a college on them: Cambridge pools strong applicants between colleges, so the college you name is not the college that decides.
GCSEs are as declared on the UCAS form and not verified at the point of application. The university pools 9 and 8 as A* in its own key, and everything at 6 or below as “other”.
The 2025-cycle UCAT figures include Abstract Reasoning and are scored out of 3,600. That subtest has been removed and the total is now out of 2,700, so those numbers cannot be compared with a score for 2027 entry. They are shown for the shape of the gap between applicants and offer holders, nothing more.
The GCSE table stops at the 2025 apply year. The response was answered in June 2026, before the 2026 cycle closed, so that year is not included.

Offer holders’ GCSEs by college, 2020 to 2025

For each college and apply year: the mean number of GCSEs at grade 9, grade 8, grade 7 and 6 or below among Home offer holders, split by whether they came from an independent or a maintained (state) school. An apply year is the UCAS cycle; the 2025 apply year ran from September 2024 to August 2025.
