Edge Hill Medicine: the interview
A multiple mini interview. Below: the numbers, what the interview looks for, your personal statement and SJT band, and questions to practise.
- Format
- Multiple mini interview (MMI)
- Good to know
- Offers go to the highest total MMI scores; no offer without an interview.
Without the counts there is no share to work out; what decides offers is below.
We have not added Edge Hill’s own description of what its interview assesses yet. MMI interviews generally test motivation for medicine, communication, ethical reasoning, teamwork and what you learnt from work experience; the questions below cover each.
Tie-breaker only
Not routinely used to select for interview; with the reference it may separate applicants tied at the offer threshold after the MMI.
It does not count at the interview. Band 4 is rejected automatically. Bands 1 to 3 are treated alike: the ranking is the UCAT total.
