Buckingham Medicine: the interview
A multiple mini interview (after a computer-based assessment). Below: the numbers, what the interview looks for, your personal statement and SJT band, and questions to practise.
- Format
- Multiple mini interview (MMI) · After a computer-based assessment
- Good to know
- Academic screening, then a digital Multiple Mini Assessment, then the MMI; exceptional applicants can get an offer after the assessment.
Without the counts there is no share to work out; what decides offers is below.
We have not added Buckingham’s own description of what its interview assesses yet. MMI interviews generally test motivation for medicine, communication, ethical reasoning, teamwork and what you learnt from work experience; the questions below cover each.
Not stated
We have no rule for Buckingham’s use of the SJT band.
