We have not added Kent and Medway’s own description of what its interview assesses yet. MMI interviews generally test motivation for medicine, communication, ethical reasoning, teamwork and what you learnt from work experience; the questions below cover each.
Tie-breaker only
Not assessed. About 100 borderline applicants' statements are read at each stage, with the reference, and only positively: to find achievements or circumstances that would move them up.
It does not count at the interview. Band 3 or better was part of last cycle's threshold, so Band 4 is not considered; above the threshold the band plays no further part.
Questions to practise
Written by MedOffr in the style of MMI stations. None is taken from Kent and Medway or claimed to have been asked there.

05 · Teamwork
Tell us about a time a group you were part of was not working well. What did you do, and what would you change?
06 · Work experience

07 · The NHS
What is one pressure on the NHS at the moment, and what would you do about it?
